Anforderungen
- University degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or equivalent
- At least 3 years' software engineering experience, ideally combining technical and functional
- Proven data modelling skills for business to data structures
- Team player with entrepreneurial drive and independent work ability
- Proactive, user-focused 'make it work' mentality with interest in functional and technical aspects
- Comfortable with daily release cycle and fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with non-technical and senior stakeholders
- Full professional proficiency in English, written and spoken
- Experience with PL/SQL or similar procedural DB programming language
- Practical experience with Oracle Forms builder
- Previous experience in commodities and/or trading industry
- Familiarity with PnL, accounting, or risk concepts
- French language skills
Aufgaben
- Design and implement clean, well-documented, extensible features
- Write maintainable, high-performance code
- Take full lifecycle responsibility for deliverables
- Engage directly with trading desks, finance, and senior management
- Identify and prioritize business requirements
- Understand context and spot unarticulated pain points
- Build solutions that truly serve the business
- Implement PnL explain frameworks
- Attribute daily PnL movements to market and position drivers
- Model cash-for-product loan repayments
- Build a valuation engine for complex options
- Run systems integration with acquired companies
- Collaborate closely with other development teams
- Stay connected with colleagues and stakeholders
- Quickly get up to speed with data model and business logic
- Contribute to evolving technology stack
