Aufgaben
- Support Digital Experience Leads in defining roadmaps
- Ensure seamless collaboration across teams
- Manage key deliverables
- Own the product vision of the Design System
- Define clear positioning for the Design System
- Identify target users
- Track metrics: adoption, reuse, contribution rate, reduction of custom UI
- Act as the interface between squads and platform
- Translate squad needs into platform-level capabilities
- Decide on shared components versus local components
- Provide reasoned arguments for decisions
- Manage the backlog as a real product
- Prioritize tasks based on impact across squads
- Balance new components, improvements, tech debt, and adoption work
- Build and maintain web design system assets
- Ensure quality and usability of design system assets
- Drive adoption of the Design System
- Track usage and duplication
- Push migrations, deprecations, and cleanup
- Make the Design System easier to use than to bypass
- Align with product and tech leadership
- Sync with Product Directors on roadmap dependencies
- Align with Platform and Frontend leads on architecture and constraints
- Make tradeoffs explicit and visible
- Identify and implement AI-assisted workflows
- Improve team output with AI: component documentation, accessibility audits, token suggestions, spec-to-code pipelines
- Evaluate AI tools critically
- Separate useful signal from hype in AI tools
- Make adoption decisions based on real quality and speed gains
- Stay ahead of Figma, code generation tools, and LLM-based assistants
- Establish guidelines for responsible AI use
- Prototype and test new AI-powered workflows
- Treat experimentation as part of the role
