Anforderungen
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Railway Engineering
- Proven experience in brake systems engineering or related railway subsystems
- Strong expertise in Design For Quality (DFQ) processes
- Knowledge of railway braking systems (pneumatic, electro-pneumatic, dynamic braking) and relevant standards (EN, UIC, safety regulations)
- Experience in bid phase, system design, validation, and commissioning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and international environment
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in French and/or German
Aufgaben
- Ensure braking systems meet safety and performance standards
- Collaborate with TCMS, bogies, traction, and safety systems teams
- Contribute to technical offers for modernization and service projects
- Define and execute validation and test strategies
- Support on-site commissioning and troubleshooting
- Lead DFQ lifecycle activities for braking systems
- Capture and define braking system requirements
- Develop system architecture and detailed designs
- Verify and validate braking systems
- Contribute to bid and tender phases
- Adapt braking system solutions to customer requirements
- Perform technical assessments
- Develop and validate brake system concepts and architectures
- Ensure compliance with railway and Alstom standards
- Manage interfaces with other subsystems
- Support in-service fleet issues
- Contribute to root cause analysis
- Implement continuous improvement actions
- Optimize braking system performance and reliability
