Anforderungen
- PhD degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or similar field
- Equivalent background (Master degree with at least 3 years industry experience)
- Hands-on experience in spatial proteomics or transcriptomic assays for analysis of histological samples (IHC, IF, in situ hybridization, in situ sequencing, or similar techniques etc.)
- Experience handling microfluidics devices and fluorescent microscopes
- Good knowledge in image processing and data analysis
- Critical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to details
- Dynamic, enthusiast, and organized individual, able to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
- Team player, comfortable working independently
- Fluency in oral and written English
Aufgaben
- Test, optimize, and validate new markers for immunofluorescent multiplex stainings on tissue samples
- Investigate novel and innovative solutions for spatial-omics assays on Bio-Techne Spatial microfluidic platforms
- Develop a fine understanding of in situ protein and RNA detection methodologies
- Acquire images, process them, analyze data, and report results concisely
- Explore and understand the biological background of target markers under development
- Contribute to the continuous development of devices and software
- Interact with a multidisciplinary team of hardware and software engineers and researchers
