Anforderungen

• PhD in Organic or Analytical Chemistry with 5 years experience or Master with 10 years experience
• Experience in analytical and preparative separation science
• Experience in various evaporation techniques
• Track record of automation and complex workflow management
• Appreciated experience in people management
• Creativity, open-mindedness, and entrepreneurial spirit
• Problem solver attitude
• Valued external network in purification and automation
• Mandatory good English communication skills
• French language skills as a plus

Aufgaben

• Manage all practical and organizational aspects of the research purification laboratory
• Deliver pure substances for olfactive evaluation by perfumers
• Expand laboratory capabilities to increase future throughput
• Apply state-of-the-art purification methodologies at milligram to gram scales
• Identify and develop new technical approaches to increase capacity
• Leverage automation solutions for purification throughput
• Design and optimize workflows in LIMS and ELN systems
• Manage data tracking within a high-throughput environment
• Maintain assets to ensure uninterrupted year-round laboratory operations
• Manage and develop a team of technical experts
• Proactively identify technical issues and propose solutions
