In addition, the incumbent is an expert in formulating, applying ingredients, understanding structural & functional relationships, and food processes within a specific key application category. As the subject matter expert for application expertise in their field they actively collaborate with the technical team to share their knowledge for both texture and healthful solutions.
The Senior Technical Service Technologist reports to the Manager, Technical Service Central and Eastern Europe
**What you will do:**
* Serve as the primary technical contact for key bakery accounts, leading projects that drive innovation and business growth.
* Conduct application trials—both in our labs and at customer sites—developing and fine-tuning recipes, formulations, and processes.
* Diagnose formulation and process challenges, recommending tailored solutions that optimize performance and product quality.
* Organize and host customer visits, workshops, and pilot trials at Ingredion Idea Labs.
* Document project work, communicate results internally and externally, and maintain accurate CRM records.
* Leverage global Ingredion expertise to solve local technical challenges and participate in cross-functional innovation teams.
**What you will bring:**
* A degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, or a related field
* Proven track record in technical service, NPD, or applications for specialty food ingredients
* Hands-on experience with ingredient systems and processing in bakery applications
