# (Senior) Software Developer (f/m/d) - SAP Sustainability | S/4HANA Cloud for Product Compliance **What you´ll do** We are looking for an experienced, team-oriented, creative, and results-driven (Senior) Software Developer (f/m/d) with strong technical leadership in agile engineering practices and a passion for driving SAP’s sustainability agenda. As part of the SAP Sustainability Integration Development team, you will: * Design, implement, and test end-to-end software features in a cloud-native environment * Contribute actively to the entire product lifecycle: from backlog definition and specification to development, testing, delivery, and maintenance * Demonstrate high software engineering standards and a strong commitment to quality and performance * Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables in a timely and reliable manner * Work in a dynamic, agile setup with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility * Collaborate closely with colleagues across teams, as well as with customers and partners * Act as a mentor and role model for junior developers within the team * Drive continuous improvement of development methodologies and tools **What you bring** * University degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience * Several years of professional experience in software development * Excellent programming skills in object-oriented languages (e.g. Java, ABAP OO) and modern web frameworks (e.g. JavaScript) * Experience with SAP development frameworks (e.g. RAP, CDS, BOPF, UI5) is a plus * Deep understanding of software design patterns and engineering best practices * Strong analytical thinking and architectural mindset * Comfortable working in agile development setup * Experience in other SAP ERP or S/4HANA areas (e.g. Sales, Distribution, Procurement, Transportation) is advantageous * Fast learner with a proactive, team-oriented mindset * Strong communication skills in English and German, with a collaborative and constructive style **Meet your team** Join our diverse, co-located agile development team in Markdorf, working on SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Product Compliance.
