We are looking to expand our team. ##### Your Role and Responsibilities: * Developing and planning the AI Factory’s (AIF) portfolio of training offers within a friendly and open work environment in a highly motivated, international team * Leading the design and organisation of training events and series, collaborating with and coordinating other trainers * Ability and willingness to contribute with your knowledge to training (and consultancy) offers for the targeted user groups * Analysing the requirements and needs of targeted user groups with respect to training (and consulting) * Coordinating and organizing the corresponding work package of the AIF * Fostering contact with collaboration partners as well as stakeholders from the European AI ecosystem, relying on your friendly personality and communication skills * Supporting AI talent development in Europe and Germany by means of training and consulting within the AIF’s ecosystem * Opportunities to work with national and European partners on novel AI projects from private and academic sectors * Maintaining relationships with technology providers and system developers (hardware/software) ##### Basic Qualifications: *Required/Minimum Qualifications* * PhD or Master’s degree in computer or data science, or other areas of scientific computing with at least 3 years of applied data analytics and machine learning/AI experience as senior engineer/data analyst in research or enterprise environments *Other Requirements* * Proficiency working in Linux environments * Extensive knowledge about and practical skills applying Machine Learning/AI applications, frameworks, methods and models (e.g. Python, PyTorch, JAX, etc.) * Willingness to keep up with current developments and to learn new technologies * Knowledge and experience designing and organising training events and series as well as conducting your own training events * Excellent English and preferably German presentation and writing skills ##### Preferred Qualifications: * Familiarity with Git-based version control systems like GitLab or GitHub * Customer relationship management know-how * Experience working at or with start-ups/small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) ##### Conditions: | | | | --- | --- | | **Area** | Big Data and Artificial Intelligence | | **Working time** | full time (40 hrs) / part-time possible flexible working model with electronic time recording | | **Term of the contract** | End of Q1/2028, a further employment is intended | | **Remuneration** | up to E 13, see Entgelttabelle TV-L | | **Annual leave / compensatory time off** | 30 days  (24.12. + 31.12. additionally day off) Overtime is compensated by additional time off | | **Further trainings** | Individual support for in-service training and further education | | **Mobile work** | up to 60% of work time, when applicable | | **Benefits** | e.g. bus and subway (U6) on the doorstep, free parking, pension plan of the Versorgungsanstalt des Bundes und der Länder (VBL), state-of-the-art work equipment | ##### What can you find with us?
