# Internship / Working Student - User Experience & In-Car Infotainment (f/m/d)
## YOUR TEAM
To support our Pre-Development Interior, Infotainment & Digital Experience team, we are currently looking for an intern / a working student. In your role, you get first-hand experience in user experience and interaction design in the automotive context and will be an integral part of the team that works on the in-cabin digital experience of the future. The “Pre-Development Interior, Infotainment & Digital Experience” focuses on innovating in-cabin experiences in the context of mobility. By considering the user, mobility, and technology, we aim to shape a holistic mobility experience in the era of AI-based technology. Our multi-disciplinary team consists of software and system engineers working together with UX/UI concept/design specialists.
The UX/UI team focuses on the user as the center of (pre-)developing inspiring vehicle interior, infotainment and digital experiences by working according to the User-Centered Design Process (UCDP). This implies that innovative ideas and technologies are developed based on defined user requirements, realized as a prototype and tested via user studies. A high user experience as well as a very high usability while interacting with innovative functions, features and services are of major interest for the UX/UI team.
## WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Support the UX/Ul-Team working on innovative ideas and technologies in various pre- development projects
* Understand the user: Describe user context and identify user needs (including desktop as well as user research)
* Derive requirements: Specify user requirements
* Create the user interface: Adapt and develop functions and features to user requirements
* Validate: Analyze user experience including usability by conducting qualitative as well as quantitative studies including analyzing the data
## WHO YOU ARE
* Enrolled student in the Human-Machine interaction area (e.g., Human Factors, Psychology, Media informatics, or-the-like)
* Knowledge of User Experience (UX) approaches and the User-Centered Design Process (UCDP)
* Familiar in conducting user research (e.g., context analysis, validation incl. usability testing) and/or prototyping
* Experience in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data (e.g., MaxQDA, R, SPSS)
* Familiar with and open to using AI-tools in the UX/UI context
* Dedicated team player that collaborates effectively with customers and other teams
* Analytical, structured and reliable way of working
* Very good German (minimum: B2 level) and English skills
