**Your mission**
You will be part of the Cabin & Cargo engineering team, contributing to the strategic HBCplus project which directly enhances the future of connectivity and in-flight experiences for Airbus aircraft programs according to priorities and needs.
We're looking for individuals with strong specialization and relevant experience in
* System Development / Aircraft System Integration (Thermal, Mechanical, Electrical)
* Hardware Definition and Qualification according to DO-160 or ABD0100
* System Verification and Validation
* Knowledge in radio frequency technology/telecommunications or Network/Connectivity is a plus
****Your main tasks and responsibilities will include****
* Architecture definition of platforms, communication systems, backbones enabling new functionalities and services requested by Airbus aircraft programs and airline customers
* Creation of System and Hardware documentation (e.g. Specifications, System Descriptions, V&V Plans) according to the Airbus development process
* Coordination of system integration aspects with involved departments (e.g. Electrical and Mechanical System Integration, Manufacturing Engineering, Final Assembly Line)
* Definition and evaluation of Lab and Flight Test test activities for Satcom systems
* Definition of the functional system and equipment specifications for Airbus suppliers by using model based system engineering or requirement based methodology
* You will work in a project team while taking responsibility for your commitments and work collectively to a common objective, ensuring proper communication and transparency to the other team members and being flexible for adapting to the project needs.
**Required skills**
* Master's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, combined with relevant professional experience
* System engineering expertise, advanced understanding of development- and industrial processes
* Demonstrated experience with validation and verification methodologies for systems and equipment
* Self-organized, with strong moderating and negotiating skills to develop innovative solutions with internal and external stakeholders.
* A genuine enthusiasm for complex technical challenges and continuous learning
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
* Negotiation-level English skills
