**About the Role**
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer at Ambu, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our development processes, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems, and driving automation in our embedded development and across our infrastructure.
You will be part of the team **in** **our office in Augsburg, Germany,** while being an integral part of a broader team in Ballerup, Denmark and Penang, Malaysia. **Key responsibilities**
* Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
* Collaborating closely with our internal customers, including the embedded development team, to address and support their needs.
* Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of our infrastructure and applications.
* Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, security, and availability.
* Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Ansible, or similar.
* Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our DevOps processes.
* Support the documentation effort to comply with software medical device and cybersecurity standards.

* Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
* Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch).
* Knowledge of security best practices in a DevOps environment.
English is the working language, fluency in both spoken and written English is required.

In this role, you will join a team of 11 engineering professionals, with competencies spanning from DevOps to Test Automation. The team is characterized by a quality-driven and high-performing environment, where expectations are high, but so is the level of support and collaboration. Team members are located in both Ballerup, Denmark, and Penang, Malaysia.
