**Client Services Manager**
**Location:- Switzerland, Zurich**
**Description**
Apex is looking for a highly skilled, experienced and motivated individual to manage and service a small number of our capital market clients as well as a portfolio of corporate mandates. The client services manager will act as front of house for our corporate service offering to his/her portfolio of clients. He/She will perform technical, and value add services and ensure the client deliverables are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

This role requires a full 5-day in-office working week, promoting a collaborative and engaging workplace atmosphere.
**Job specification**
**Responsibilities:**
* Oversight of client deliverables within the client portfolio to ensure adherence to corporate service agreement.
* Act as client director on client companies/SPVs.
* Ensuring high levels of service delivery including acting as a primary point of contact for operations issue resolution.
* Acting as the internal technical lead from a capital markets perspective.
* Working closely with off-shore servicing teams to ensure a high quality and supremely co-ordinated service is delivered to client relationships.
* Perform daily accounting (in client systems or our own) as well as weekly bank and other necessary reconciliations.
* Reviewing and preparing of periodic (monthly or quarterly, as the case may be) management accounts and financial statements (Swiss GAAP and IFRS) to required standard and deadlines.
* Reviewing transaction documents to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Liaison with auditors to plan the annual audit and manage the audit query process to ensure timely completion within client and/or statutory deadlines.
* Preparation of periodic tax and statutory returns e.g., VAT returns, DAC6, CBC, FATCA, CRS. Liaison with the tax advisors to ensure corporation tax filings and payments submitted within statutory deadlines.
* Ensuring client fully compliant with other statutory obligations e.g., listing, AML etc.
* Attending and presenting at board meetings and drafting related board papers and minutes.
* Managing the on-boarding of new client entities from a client services perspective (inclusive of liaising with notaries, lawyers, commercial register, social security authorities/bodies, insurances, tax authorities, financial institutions, etc.).
* Coordinating with our Business Development team in identifying and following up on business opportunities and the development of our services.
* Sharing information and providing training, guidance, advice and assistance to other team members as required.
* Ad-hoc project work, as required, including the assessment of new legislation relevant to client’s and adopting Apex technology.
* Understanding and speaking knowledgably about Apex Group services and its values.
**Skills Required:**
* Typically 5-6 years of working experience within the industry (i.e. fiduciary/corporate services)
* Capital Markets experience an advantage
* Qualified Accountant with hands-on accounting experience
* Expert knowledge of IFRS and Swiss GAAP (inclusive of hands-on application)
* Ability to work on own initiative and take full ownership of client portfolio (at the same time also able and willing to work within and support a small, but highly efficient local team)
* Ability to work effectively in fast paced, complex and dynamic work environment
* Knowledge of corporate governance, relevant local laws and regulatory requirements
* Listing requirements would be a distinct advantage
