Requirements

  • 5+ years business development, sales, or account management
  • Background in Semiconductor IC, ASIC/SoC, or foundry services
  • Background in Industrial or A&D or IDM electronics ecosystem
  • Proven success closing complex, high-value deals
  • Established EMEA ecosystem network
  • Strong understanding of IP selection, licensing models, value proposition
  • Familiarity with silicon development flows and design life cycles
  • Strong customer engagement and negotiation capabilities
  • Ability to operate independently and manage opportunities
  • Excellent communication bridging technical and commercial topics
  • Structured pipeline and account management approach
  • Track record working with European OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers
  • Experience selling silicon or platform-based solutions
  • Experience with Embedded Compute Architectures

Tasks

  • Identify and close new business opportunities in automotive EMEA
  • Lead the full sales lifecycle from initial contact to contract signing
  • Monitor competitors and technology trends, provide insights to BUs
  • Focus on strategic engagements like platform solutions and custom silicon
  • Act as primary account owner for key customers
  • Build strong relationships with engineering, purchasing, and executives
  • Develop and execute account strategies aligned with customer roadmaps
  • Work with customer engineering teams to understand system requirements
  • Position MIPS’ value proposition, including RISC-V compute architectures
  • Translate technical requirements into compelling commercial proposals
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and CRM management
  • Track progress toward revenue targets
  • Expand relationships with design houses and system integrators
  • Support industry engagement at conferences and trade shows
  • Strengthen MIPS’ presence in the European market
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and marketing teams
  • Align internal stakeholders to drive successful customer engagements
  • Provide input to product roadmap based on market and customer needs
