Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering, game technology, or interactive systems
  • Experience operating at senior or principal engineering level
  • Proven track record of building and shipping complex software systems
  • Strong systems thinking and architectural judgment
  • Experience leading technical initiatives end-to-end
  • Comfort solving difficult technical problems in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • High ownership, reliability, and bias toward action
  • Clear, concise communication and strong decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills

Tasks

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technical artists, and designers
  • Architect and implement core systems
  • Set technical direction and standards
  • Take ownership of R&D delivery from concept to production
  • Translate ambiguous ideas into clear technical plans
  • Drive high-quality execution of projects
  • Partner with Snke teams to align R&D with product, design, clinical, and business priorities
  • Ensure systems meet scalability, performance, and maintainability standards
  • Identify risks early and navigate tradeoffs
