Requirements
- University degree in engineering, economics, manufacturing or comparable
- Solid working experience in Operations and relevant Functions
- Leadership experience including coaching/mentoring skills
- Project Management experience
- Lean Management, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
- Transformation competence and organizational development skills
- Coaching and Mentoring Skills, Business/Finance Management Acumen
- Results/Process/Problem Solving oriented, knowledge in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Production, Launch Readiness
- Fluent English and German language skills
Tasks
- Ensure EHS, technical management, logistics, quality, production, and lean practices
- Comply with legal requirements
- Provide excellent services to all stakeholders
- Achieve business results (FCM)
- Develop the team
- Assure availability and deployment of manpower, equipment, and materials
- Lead and develop the plant leadership team
- Foster a diverse, results-oriented, and problem-solving organization
- Drive achievement of operational performance and budgets
- Ensure daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
- Maintain safety, quality, customer delivery, production volumes, costs, productivity, working capital, profit, and cash performance
- Achieve production KPIs and the '6 Vital Few' (LTAR, OPV, ITR, PPP, OEE, FCP)
- Drive continuous improvement
- Develop a long-term vision and detailed plant roadmap
- Construct the Plant OP/SP and resource/infrastructure plan
- Establish and maintain reliable relationships with customers and unions
- Provide 24-hour support for the production unit
- Lead the daily agenda and observation approach
