Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, or related discipline
- Recognised Health & Safety qualification (national or international)
- Professional FM or engineering certifications advantageous
- Proven experience in Facilities and Maintenance Management
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, building services, and infrastructure systems
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-site portfolios
- Demonstrated experience managing complex stakeholder environments
- Solid project management capability
- Contractor and budget management experience
- Experience with CAFM systems (e.g. IBM Maximo) and AutoCAD desirable
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Report preparation skills
- Senior-level interaction skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to collaborate effectively across a matrix organisation

Tasks
- Manage daily facilities operations across German sites
- Ensure compliance with German statutory requirements
- Partner with EHS teams to maintain safe environments
- Maintain QHSE systems through corporate policies
- Complete QHSE-related actions accurately and on time
- Lead annual facilities budgeting process for Germany
- Develop multi-year facilities investment roadmaps
- Ensure competitive tendering and procurement processes
- Collaborate with Global Procurement to optimize supplier performance
- Authorize purchase requests within defined authority
- Lead facilities projects including refurbishments and upgrades
- Plan and implement space utilization strategies
- Prepare annual and five-year maintenance programs
- Manage engineering planning and contractor supervision
- Lead change initiatives to minimize business disruption
- Establish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate clearly with employees and contractors
- Monitor service delivery performance against SLAs and KPIs
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery
- Maintain effectiveness of QHSE systems at sites
- Adhere to environmental, health, and safety policies
