Requirements
- University degree or equivalent
- Demonstrated UNIX/Linux environments experience
- Scripting languages and/or databases experience
- Earth Observation or meteorological products data processing experience
- Integration, verification and validation (IV&V) of data processing systems/processors experience
- Ability to write technical documentation
- Practical knowledge of configuration-controlled environments
- Fluency in English
- High working autonomy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork in multicultural environment
- System engineering and system design experience (desirable)
- Spacecraft and/or ground segment operations knowledge (desirable)
- Computer systems, network systems and IT security knowledge (desirable)
- Programming languages experience (desirable)
- Quality control, calibration and validation knowledge (desirable)
- Operational procedures and/or configuration data development/maintenance experience (desirable)
- ECSS standards knowledge (desirable)
- DOORS experience (desirable)
- Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) and related tools knowledge (desirable)
Tasks
- Investigate and resolve data processing anomalies
- Support software release and deployment
- Verify software deployments
- Contribute to integration and validation of processing chains
- Test and validate system performance
- Support system-level analysis and engineering tasks
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
- Participate in technical reviews and meetings
- Attend engineering boards
