Working Student Digital Design - Neural Network Hardware Implementation(m/w/x)
Implementing neural network building blocks on FPGA platforms for photonic and microelectronic technologies. RTL design in SystemVerilog and Xilinx Vivado experience required. Support for thesis topic and career entry.
Requirements
- Enrollment in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparable field
- RTL design in SystemVerilog/Verilog
- FPGA development (preferably Xilinx Vivado)
- Good understanding of digital design concepts (FSMs, pipelining, fixed-point arithmetic)
- Familiarity with verification methods
- Programming in C/C++ or Python
- Basic understanding of HW/SW co-design
- Basic understanding of communication interfaces (e.g., AXI)
- Interest in neural network architectures
- Willingness to learn new concepts
- Independent working style
- Problem-solving mindset
- Ability to quickly grasp and apply new concepts
- Reliable communication skills
- Attentive listening to supervisor feedback
- Constructive dialogue
- Fluent English proficiency (spoken and written)
Tasks
