Requirements
- Flexibility to work and travel internationally across regions and time zones
- University Bachelor or Master’s degree in Fashion Technology, Industrial Design, or equivalent education/experience
- Advanced degrees or certifications in digital patternmaking and 3D prototyping advantageous
- Good computer literacy essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Adobe CC
- Experience in CAD software (Gerber, Lectra, Optitex)
- Experience in 3D modelling simulation tools (CLO 3D, Browzwear)
- Several years of experience in technical pattern engineering
- Several years of experience in digital product creation roles within apparel industry
- Experience in outdoor performance or sustainable apparel sector highly preferred
Tasks
- Create tools for product line execution
- Ensure alignment with brand strategy and business needs
- Collaborate with Design and Product Development teams
- Translate creative concepts into accurate patterns
- Leverage CAD and digital pattern tools
- Develop detailed and scalable patterns
- Create digital 3D product samples
- Simulate garment behavior using 3D modelling
- Ensure design intent aligns with technical feasibility
- Refine patterns and troubleshoot fit challenges
- Implement innovative solutions for product excellence
- Seek manufacturing improvements for optimal performance
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitate transparent communication and collaboration
- Relay fit issues and propose adjustments
- Manage project timelines for seasonal and non-seasonal products
- Follow critical paths for on-time delivery
- Use agile methodologies to manage projects
- Maintain and update digital pattern and virtual samples database
- Prepare for sample reviews by measuring and pre-fitting
- Schedule fit sessions and guide fit assessments
- Complete pattern revisions on-time for efficient production
- Analyse market feedback and product performance data
- Refine existing products and influence future development
- Seek opportunities for personal growth and expertise
