Requirements

  • Several years of experience in business development or new business sales with proven track record of closing complex deals
  • Experience selling innovative, consultative services and projects in technologically demanding environments
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Confident presence when interacting with senior stakeholders up to C-level
  • Resilient network in German industry or consumer products sector for business development (advantage)
  • Very good German language skills, written and spoken
  • Strong English skills for internal collaboration and international contexts (plus)
  • Willingness to apply even if not all requirements are met

  • Identify market opportunities
  • Approach potential clients proactively
  • Develop sustainable partnerships
  • Acquire new clients in Industry & Consumer Products
  • Build and maintain a new-business pipeline
  • Manage the entire sales process
  • Conduct initial client contact and discovery
  • Develop and negotiate proposals
  • Close sales contracts
  • Represent Zühlke in industry networks
  • Participate in relevant associations and events
  • Position Zühlke as a strategic technology partner
  • Collaborate with consulting and engineering teams
  • Shape compelling client solutions
