Requirements
- Master’s or higher degree in Automotive Engineering Control Systems or related field, focus on braking systems
- Design control systems for Braking/BbW or chassis systems
- Deep understanding of vehicle dynamics principles, kinematics, and control theory
- Design and deploy control algorithms for Braking/BbW or autonomous driving systems
- Tune longitudinal and lateral slip controllers within braking and stability subsystems
- Develop calibration strategies to customize vehicle dynamics responses
- Strong communication capabilities
- Ability to make planned deliverables happen under pressure
- Enthusiasm to work as part of international team
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel to China
Tasks
- Lead development of advanced braking control strategies
- Design and tune braking features
- Model brake pedal feel characteristics
- Calibrate slip and stability control systems
- Integrate BbW systems with chassis control systems
- Conduct vehicle-level testing and calibration
- Validate braking performance and system robustness
- Use tools like Vector Canape, Canoe, dSpace, Matlab-Simulink, C++ Coding, VBox, NCode
- Support ISO 26262 and cybersecurity compliance
- Innovate driver interaction with brake system interface
- Propose new EHB/BbW features and functions
