Payroll Specialist(m/w/x)
Processing monthly payroll for multiple locations at a global vehicle exteriors manufacturer. Several years of payroll experience and strong tax/social security law knowledge required. SAP HR and Workday knowledge advantageous.
Requirements
- Completed commercial training with HR qualification
- Several years of professional experience in Payroll
- Very good knowledge of tax and social security law
- Experience with relevant HR software, ideally SAP HR
- Workday knowledge (advantageous)
- Very good MS Office Suite knowledge, especially Excel
- High affinity for numbers, structured and solution-oriented work style
- Strong communication skills and initiative
- Discretion, loyalty, and high reliability
- Good English and German language skills
Tasks
- Process monthly payroll for multiple locations
- Ensure timely and independent payroll execution
- Comply with tax, social security, and company regulations
- Coordinate payroll data with plant contacts
- Answer questions on payroll, wage tax, and social security
- Manage certificate and reporting processes
- Liaise with health insurance and authorities
- Review new employee entries in SAP
- Support SAP setup after Workday data transfer
- Maintain employee master data in SAP HR
- Update employee entries, exits, and salary changes
- Record and monitor time management data
- Manage company pension schemes
- Generate personnel statistics and reports
- Manage garnishment processes
- Develop internal processes and procedures
- Prepare for wage tax and pension audits
- Support during wage tax and pension audits
- Follow up on wage tax and pension audits
- Process expatriate cases with the tax office
- Clarify German social security status
- Remit wage tax for limited tax liability employees
