Payroll Advisor(m/w/x)
Processing monthly payroll for three German legal entities and advising managers on HR queries. German employment legislation knowledge required. Collaboration with global payroll specialists, hybrid work model.
Requirements
- HR advisory/business partnering experience
- Good knowledge in HR payroll and general HR administration
- University Degree, completed apprenticeship, or similar qualification
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and relationships
- Solid knowledge of current German employment legislation
- Solid knowledge of relevant income tax and social security laws
- Solid knowledge of regulatory environment
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- High level of accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail
- Very good German skills
- Very good English skills
- Strong PC skills
- Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong data management skills
Tasks
- Advise German managers and employees on payroll and HR queries
- Prepare and process monthly payroll for three German legal entities
- Serve as contact for employee and external body queries
- Prepare and transmit legally required reports and certificates
- Collaborate with Nomura Payroll Specialists for payroll review
- Support employees with personnel and administrative tasks
- Process hires and exits, including contract and certificate preparation
- Assist in recruitment efforts in Germany
- Participate in payroll and HR advisory projects
- Contribute to the outsourcing process and KPI tracking
- Support internal and external audits
- Manage Benefit Administration for Germany
- Participate in the occupational health and safety committee
- Administer the pension plan, including notifications and document preparation
- Prepare monthly org charts and HR reports
