Requirements

  • 5+ years operating model design, business architecture, transformation, process excellence, or related discipline
  • Strong understanding of target operating model design (process, organisation, governance, service delivery, data, technology, performance management)
  • Understanding of AI influence on future operating models
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems and assess current-state realities
  • Ability to translate strategic goals into pragmatic, end-to-end design solutions
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to explain complex operating model topics clearly
  • Proven ability to build alignment across functions
  • Ability to challenge constructively and influence decisions
  • Experience in Life & Health insurance or reinsurance
  • Practical understanding of insurance value chain functions
  • Experience designing operating models for digital, data, or AI-enabled transformations
  • Clear point of view on AI-powered workflows' effects
  • Experience with business capability modelling, service design, process architecture, or organisational design methods
  • Familiarity with governance, risk, and regulatory considerations in financial services
  • Ability to reflect governance, risk, and regulatory considerations in operating model choices
  • Professional certification or training in architecture, business analysis, process excellence, change, or transformation frameworks
  • Comfort working in fast-evolving transformation environments
  • Curiosity and adaptability to refine design approaches
  • Encouraged to apply if returning to workforce after career break

  • Embed AI capabilities into operating principles
  • Assess current-state operations for pain points and inefficiencies
  • Convert insights into actionable improvement opportunities
  • Create end-to-end design coherence
  • Align business capabilities, responsibilities, process architecture, governance, data, and technology
  • Support AI-enabled operating model at scale
  • Partner with transformation leads, process owners, architects, product teams, and senior stakeholders
  • Shape strategically aligned and practically executable decisions
  • Define governance and decision mechanisms
  • Clarify accountabilities and support prioritisation
  • Balance standardisation, flexibility, risk management, and local needs
  • Support transformation delivery
  • Translate target-state designs into roadmaps and implementation implications
  • Provide practical guidance for delivery teams and stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement of the operating model
  • Challenge complexity and embed lessons learned
  • Ensure designs remain resilient, scalable, and fit for evolving needs
