Tasks
- Provide pragmatic compliance guidance to commercial, medical, and marketing teams
- Support application of global business practices in local and regional contexts
- Ensure alignment with healthcare laws, ABAC laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Serve as primary Compliance point of contact for EU Business Unit and regional stakeholders
- Develop and implement compliance strategies for sustainable business success
- Manage Industry Association relationships
- Establish proactive relationships with business leaders at Regional and local levels
- Act as strategic thought partner to business groups
- Work closely with Legal, HR, Regulatory, Internal Audit, and Finance
- Manage complex compliance matters according to legal, industry, and internal requirements
- Communicate and escalate compliance issues to functional and business leadership
- Partner with country teams, Business Units, and functions on Compliance topics
- Balance compliance requirements with business needs
- Propose and implement pragmatic, lasting solutions
- Support EMEACLA Compliance VP on regional projects and initiatives
- Optimize HCP-related policies, processes, and systems
- Identify gaps and issues in HCP-related processes
- Leverage global best practices for effective solutions
- Influence business leadership to drive compliance outcomes
- Act as Compliance subject matter expert for defined topics and geographies
- Provide practical guidance for compliant business decision-making
- Offer hands-on support on critical local compliance matters
- Foster a strong culture of compliance within the assigned region
- Role model Edwards’ compliance values and behaviors
- Participate in compliance-related committees
- Ensure strong alignment with EMEACLA and Global Compliance
- Conduct and analyze business-related compliance risk assessments
- Support monitoring and auditing against policies and procedures
- Execute timely remediation plans
- Investigate alleged misconduct or policy violations
- Ensure consistent handling and corrective actions for compliance issues
