Requirements

  • •Enrollment in a Masters or PhD program in relevant disciplines
  • •Prior research experience
  • •Ongoing research project or proposal
  • •Comfort with programming languages such as Python, R, Mathematica, Matlab, or Julia
  • •Experience with statistical packages such as SPSS, SAS, or Stata
  • •PhD/Doctoral degree in relevant disciplines within the past 10 years
  • •Current full-time employment in a postdoctoral research position
  • •Record of peer-reviewed publications
  • •PhD/Doctoral degree or demonstrated experience in quantitative complex systems research
  • •Record of successful research accomplishments
  • •Proficiency in English

Tasks

  • •Extend ongoing research using CSH-specific knowledge and tools
  • •Undertake new projects aligned with CSH research themes
  • •Conduct research in collaboration with CSH researchers
  • •Participate in weekly talks by invited guests and resident researchers
  • •Contribute to the intellectual and social life of the Complexity Science Hub
  • •Learn new skills through research experiences and CSH-organized events
  • •Share knowledge and research ideas through talks and a final report
