VIE - Testing & Commissioning Engineer Engineer(m/w/x)
Carrying out train tests for high-speed trains and electric buses, detecting and solving critical issues at transportation systems manufacturer. 1-2 years’ experience in industrial electrical, control, onboard communications, or network systems required. Direct involvement with train systems, strong problem-solving focus.
Requirements
- Minimum license degree in engineering or equivalent
- 1-2 years’ experience in industrial activities related to electrical, control, onboard communications, or network systems
- Knowledge of IT tools and smart devices
- Familiarity with high-risk activities associated with electrical work and EHS requirements
- Good technical level in electrical, electronic, mechanical, and network domains
- Result-driven mindset with problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in programming (AI, Python, VBS, Excel, Power-Bi)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Fluency in English
Tasks
- Participate in the testing phase of the ICNG project
- Carry out train tests according to procedures and delivery schedules
- Report critical issues affecting reliability growth
- Detect and solve critical issues to support product performance
- Understand customer acceptance criteria for projects and products
- Adhere strictly to test procedures
- Ensure all serial test procedures are completed and documented
- Manage repairs of failures promptly as they arise
- Trace each failure with precision and rigor
- Escalate unresolved deviations to the EPU Test Manager
- Propose process improvements
- Collaborate transparently with team members across shifts
- Maintain a strong working relationship with Test Engineering Technicians and Industrial Quality
- Report any outdated testing tools
- Monitor and understand key performance indicators (KPIs) related to testing
- Understand reliability criteria at both train and system levels
- Support stakeholders in defining measures to enhance reliability
- Analyze data to identify failure modes and root causes
- Contribute to field issue analysis impacting product reliability
