Vice President, Operations – Financial Messaging (FM)(m/w/x)
Managing end-to-end operations for a global financial messaging platform processing $16T+ annually. 15+ years progressive senior leadership experience with global mission-critical platforms required. High autonomy in managing critical global payment infrastructure.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years progressive experience in operations, technology, or platform leadership
- Senior leadership experience in enterprise software, SaaS, payments, or financial services technology
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline (Master’s preferred)
- Proven experience with mission-critical, high-availability platforms at global scale
- Strong background in incident management, operational resilience, change governance, and service reliability
- Demonstrated success leading globally distributed teams and senior leaders
- Experience operating in regulated environments with strong risk, compliance, and customer expectations
- Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills

- Ensure FM platform availability
- Oversee FM platform incident management
- Direct FM platform release execution
- Mitigate FM platform customer impact
- Act as ultimate escalation point for critical issues
- Establish best-in-class standards for incident response
- Establish best-in-class standards for problem management
- Establish best-in-class standards for executive communications
- Drive operational readiness for FM platforms
- Lead release governance for FM platforms
- Implement disciplined change management for FM platforms
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering
- Balance delivery speed, operational safety, and compliance
- Lead customer operations
- Provide high-quality experience for strategic, regulated customers
- Define and own FM operational KPIs
- Define and own executive operating cadence
- Build, lead, and develop global FM Operations team
- Serve as core member of FM leadership team
- Represent FM Operations in executive forums
