- Support the Laboratory Animal Facility
- Perform hands-on veterinary activities
- Conduct in vivo activities
- Act as Project Licence Holder
- Oversee animal experiments in preclinical settings
- Oversee animal experiments in GMP-relevant settings
- Ensure high standards of animal welfare
- Ensure high standards of scientific quality
- Ensure high standards of compliance
- Support the Named Veterinary Surgeon
- Substitute the Named Veterinary Surgeon
- Monitor animal health directly
- Perform clinical assessments

- Provide technical guidance to staff

- Plan GMP in vivo assays
