Vehicle Systems Engineer(m/w/x)
Design of two-stage winged hypersonic UAVs for reusable space launch systems. 3-4 years as aircraft systems engineer required. Pioneering work on aircraft-like space launch and hypersonic transport.
Requirements
- Aerospace, mechanical or systems engineering degree (M.Sc./M.Eng.)
- 3-4 years of experience as aircraft systems engineer
- Extensive interdisciplinary knowledge in aerospace engineering
- Experience with CAD software (preferably Autodesk Inventor or PTC CREO)
- Basic programming skills in Python, C/C++
- Excellent analytical and interdisciplinary skills
- Fluent in English, German desirable
- Proactive mindset, high motivation, flexibility, perseverance, and teamwork ability
- Work experience in a start-up environment is an advantage
Tasks
- Design a two-stage winged hypersonic UAV
- Develop and manage configuration plans
- Create testing and manufacturing plans
- Handle mass, power, and electrical budgets
- Ensure design compliance with requirements
- Support interface and requirements management
- Assist in mission analysis
- Lead small teams of 3-5 people, if qualified
