Requirements
- High motivation for research in biomechanics, neuromechanics, computational modeling
- Ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Curiosity, creativity, and proactive approach to scientific challenges
- Strong communication skills and willingness to engage with partners
- Commitment to high-quality, reproducible research
- Enthusiasm for learning new methods and technologies
- Team player with high social skills
- MSc in biomechanics, sport science, biomedical engineering, computer science, or related field
- Programming skills in MATLAB and/or Python
- Strong interest in musculoskeletal modeling, simulation, movement analysis
- Experience with motion capture data, medical image processing, or computational modeling advantageous
- Previous experience with OpenSim-based simulations is a strong asset
- Previous scientific publications and conference presentations are a plus
Tasks
- Develop and implement research ideas
- Design and conduct experiments
- Collect and analyze three-dimensional motion capture data
- Perform musculoskeletal simulations
- Validate simulation outcomes
- Contribute to scientific publications
- Present research at conferences
- Supervise BSc and MSc students
- Guide students through data collection and analysis
- Contribute to teaching activities
- Work on dissertation and its completion
- Collaborate with clinical and research partners
- Participate in project meetings
- Support research infrastructure development
- Contribute to project reporting
- Handle administrative tasks in research and teaching
