Transportation Manager - Design & Network(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Informatics, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in logistics strategy, solution design, or supply chain analytics
- Digital fluency and strong affinity for IT systems
- Experience with TMS implementation, requirements engineering, or data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau)
- Solid experience in leading international projects, ideally with certification
- Ability to see the 'Big Picture' and translate corporate strategy into actionable logistics standards
- Fluent in English and German (negotiating level)
- Proven track record in transportation management and logistics
- Analytical and structured way of working with high problem-solving skills
- Innovative mindset and ability to embrace digital transformation
- Team player who works effectively in a matrix organization
- Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity
Tasks
- Contribute to the development of Satair’s Transport Operating Model
- Define and harmonize global transport standards across regions
- Act as the Key User for the transport system landscape
- Translate operational requirements into system enhancements
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support the improvement of data analytics capabilities
- Collaborate with data owners to refine logistics KPIs
- Provide strategic input for dashboard enhancements
- Contribute to Group-wide synergy programs
- Support the Head of Transportation with specific work packages
- Prepare decision papers and process tasks for strategic initiatives
- Analyze end-to-end transport flows to identify inefficiencies
- Lead Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) initiatives using Lean methodologies
