Requirements

  • Completed studies in a commercial field
  • Several years of professional experience in finance department, especially in preparing annual financial statements according to national (UGB, OR) and international (IFRS) accounting regulations
  • Solid knowledge of tax law for Austria and Switzerland
  • Ability to analyze complex relationships and communicate them clearly
  • Very good communication skills and enjoyment of working as an interface within the company
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken

Tasks

  • Lead the accounting team both technically and disciplinarily
  • Develop and motivate team members
  • Serve as the main contact for all departments regarding financial inquiries
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with UGB and IFRS
  • Ensure the quality and timeliness of financial reports
  • Drive continuous optimization of departmental processes
  • Monitor tax planning and liquidity processes
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations
  • Collaborate closely with auditors, tax advisors, and banks
  • Represent the company during audits
