Requirements
- •Graduate degree in economics, wood/forestry, or comparable field
- •Relevant professional experience in timber or wood industry
- •Fluent German and English skills (spoken and written); additional languages are an asset
- •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- •High level of negotiation skills and decision-making capability
- •Ability to professionally represent the company externally
- •Willingness to travel approximately 20%

Tasks
- •Act as a business partner to Sales, Production, Quality, Supply Network, and Technical departments
- •Develop and execute material group strategies for the Wood category
- •Analyze market, cost, and spend data to build supplier knowledge
- •Identify internal customer needs and collaborate to reduce Total Cost of Ownership
- •Manage supplier selection, evaluation, development, and risk assessment
- •Lead price and contract negotiations with strategic suppliers
- •Draft and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance and value creation
- •Ensure sustainable realization of savings and communicate achieved savings
- •Perform category risk management, including supply, price, and sustainability risks
- •Maintain accurate spend data and master data in relevant systems, including SAP
- •Communicate category and supplier strategies to internal partners
