Description

You will ensure the health of a massive satellite constellation by resolving anomalies and deploying software, while driving the operational strategy for the next generation of spacecraft.

Requirements

• •Degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent
• •One year of related experience
• •Software development experience in Python or similar
• •Data-driven mindset and statistical analysis experience
• •Familiarity with space environment and challenges
• •Proactive engineering and problem-solving approach
• •Interpersonal and collaboration skills within teams
• •Professional working proficiency in English
• •Experience with Agile software development
• •Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices
• •Experience operating spacecraft or remote systems
• •Practical expertise in data analysis
• •Familiarity with automation and optimization tools
• •Contributions to open-source software projects
• •Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information

Tasks

• •Conduct daily satellite fleet checks
• •Support scheduled on-call shifts
• •Test and deploy flight software upgrades
• •Debug and resolve satellite anomalies
• •Perform various on-orbit experiments
• •Create and maintain operational procedures
• •Develop real-time mission-critical software solutions
• •Write scripts to aggregate satellite data
