Requirements
- 5+ years backend development with PHP
- Hands-on experience with Symfony and Doctrine
- Experience with Go (nice-to-have)
- Knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns
- Experience designing and working on highly scalable systems
- Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL)
- Hands-on experience with SQL, NoSQL, and queue systems
- Familiar with GitLab CI/CD workflows
- Experience with containerization (k8s, Docker, AWS)
- Understanding of system monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, New Relic)
- Practice TDD and pair programming
- Experience with JavaScript and React (plus but not required)
- Willingness to learn and grow
Tasks
- Develop and maintain AV Tribe applications with international teams
- Develop and maintain services for internal and external clients
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs
- Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance
- Build and deploy processes using GitLab CI/CD
- Run scalable services on Kubernetes
- Implement observability using Grafana, Loki, and New Relic
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new features
- Contribute to technical documentation with Product Owner
- Provide input on implementation choices
- Drive continuous improvement in software engineering
- Promote best practices in testing and infrastructure
