Senior Visual Inspection Engineer(m/w/x)
Bringing automated visual inspection lines into production for pharmaceutical filling, developing structured recipes. Several years in pharmaceutical GMP environment with strong AVI/IPC knowledge required. Relocation assistance for eligible candidates.
Requirements
- Masters or PhD in Life Science, Engineering, Computer Vision, or equivalent experience
- Several years of experience in pharmaceutical GMP-controlled environment
- Strong technical knowledge of automated visual inspection (AVI) and 100% camera in-process control (IPC) in filling lines
- Strong technical knowledge of optical systems for troubleshooting, including cameras, lenses, and lighting
- Experience in developing new recipes in AVI, including recipe qualification and validation
- Enjoyment of working independently in a highly dynamic environment
- Fluency in English (knowledge of German is a plus)
Tasks
- Bring two automated visual inspection lines into production
- Develop a structured recipe development approach for various product types
- Establish a systematic and automated recipe development process
- Execute and support recipe validation and qualification
- Create relevant documentation for recipe validation
- Develop a LEAN approach for recipe development
- Ensure cost-efficient operations in the visual inspection department
- Implement image and video databases for continuous improvement
- Support innovation efforts for virtual PQ implementation
- Lead the integration of AI in existing automated visual inspection systems
