Requirements

  • Expertise in traditional asset management (bonds, equities, fund shares, issuance, custody, core processes)
  • Ability to compare traditional and digital asset models
  • Strong working knowledge of tokenization
  • Strong working knowledge of crypto market structures
  • Strong working knowledge of digital asset business models
  • Ability to articulate and assess new business models
  • Ability to communicate new business models between stakeholders
  • Experience driving initiatives from concept to decision
  • Experience driving POCs from concept to decision
  • Experience in regulated financial environments
  • Excellent moderation skills
  • Excellent stakeholder alignment skills
  • Excellent executive communication skills
  • Genuine curiosity and willingness to expand tech domains
  • Deep expertise in tokenization
  • Broad capability to evaluate new areas
  • Fluent English (B1 level)
  • Fluent German (B1 level)
  • Experience at an asset manager with digital assets interest
  • Experience at a crypto exchange, broker, or neo-bank
  • Familiarity with EU regulatory landscape (MiCAR, DLT Pilot, MiFID II, AML/KYC, TFR)
  • Exposure to design thinking
  • Exposure to lean experimentation
  • Exposure to vendor due diligence
  • Exposure to partnership models
  • Background in banking
  • Background in asset management
  • Background in market infrastructure strategy/technology consulting
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science
  • Equivalent practical experience

Tasks

  • Develop and deliver a tokenization strategy
  • Bridge traditional asset management with tokenized models
  • Define RBI's digital asset landscape competitiveness
  • Align with business lines, compliance, and legal
  • Create actionable implementation roadmaps
  • Identify, scope, and prioritize tokenization use cases
  • Lead POCs/MVPs for tokenization
  • Shape business cases for tokenization
  • Facilitate tokenization handovers into delivery
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and scalable execution
  • Explore emerging tech domains
  • Translate emerging trends into business value
  • Lead horizon scanning and opportunity assessments
  • Lead cross-domain POCs
  • Contribute to group playbooks and standards
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops
  • Facilitate governance for alignment and momentum
