Requirements

  • •Master's/diploma degree in relevant field
  • •Several years of experience in structural design for timber construction projects
  • •In-depth knowledge of relevant Eurocodes and their application
  • •Affinity for digital processes and their further development
  • •Fluent communication skills in German and English
  • •Experience in timber construction companies or product development
  • •Additional training in carpentry or similar
  • •Experience with Dlubal RFEM, AutoCAD, Rhino

Education

Master's degree
OR
Vocational certification

Work Experience

approx. 4 - 6 years

Tasks

  • •Develop structural designs for the building system
  • •Create detailed product specifications for timber construction
  • •Design technical solutions considering DfMA principles, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness
  • •Develop and verify design tools for multi-story timber construction
  • •Create project-specific stability certificates and structural documentation
  • •Manage projects related to structural design in timber construction
  • •Collaborate closely with experts in architecture, building services, and fire protection
  • •Contribute to the digital value chain development with product and tech teams
