  • Excellent teamwork abilities
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Previously acquired third-party funding
  • Supervision and teaching experience advantageous
  • Good organisational skills desirable
  • Presentation experience in international setting beneficial
  • Proven track record in scientific programming
  • Scientific programming in software development teams advantageous
  • Applications of scientific programming to various scientific tasks advantageous
  • Visible scientific track record strong asset

Tasks

  • Contribute to research on atmospheric evolution
  • Develop and support computational tools
  • Find optimal solvers for group codes
  • Build a strong research profile in planetary and stellar astrophysics
  • Lead and participate in scientific publications
  • Present research at international meetings
  • Apply new computational tools to existing codes
  • Contribute software expertise to other groups
  • Supervise Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral students
  • Teach courses independently
  • Handle administrative tasks in research and teaching
  • Participate in evaluation procedures
