- •PhD, MSc with 5+ years experience, or comparable qualification
- •Proficiency in microfabrication, ideally PICs
- •Hands-on cleanroom experience
- •Strong organizational and documentation skills
- •Ability to work collaboratively
- •Autonomy and passion
- •Enjoyment of dynamic multicultural teams
- •Excellent English communication skills
- •German language skills (plus)

- •Design, fabricate, and test Photonic Integrated Circuits
- •Lead process development for AlN or TFLN platforms
- •Own the platform flow and fabrication strategy
- •Coordinate with cleanroom and process engineering teams
- •Mentor colleagues and facilitate knowledge transfer
- •Identify and mitigate fabrication risks and bottlenecks
- •Plan and execute Design of Experiments for optimization
- •Integrate process modules to increase technology readiness
- •Define process windows and perform root-cause analysis
- •Execute lithography, deposition, and dry etch processes
- •Manage metrology, SPC, and change control documentation
- •Collaborate with industry and academic project partners
- •Generate intellectual property and patent applications
