Requirements

  • Proficiency in microfabrication, ideally PICs

Tasks

  • Design, fabricate, and test Photonic Integrated Circuits
  • Lead process development for AlN or TFLN platforms
  • Own the platform flow and fabrication strategy
  • Coordinate with cleanroom and process engineering teams
  • Mentor colleagues and facilitate knowledge transfer
  • Identify and mitigate fabrication risks and bottlenecks
  • Plan and execute Design of Experiments for optimization
  • Integrate process modules to increase technology readiness
  • Define process windows and perform root-cause analysis
  • Execute lithography, deposition, and dry etch processes
  • Manage metrology, SPC, and change control documentation
  • Collaborate with industry and academic project partners
  • Generate intellectual property and patent applications
