Senior Product Manager – ECR Systems & Loyalty Solutions(m/w/x)
Product strategy and lifecycle ownership for Genius and COMO ECR systems at payment solutions provider for 3M+ businesses. Proven success launching/scaling cash registers in German market required. Full product lifecycle ownership for key German market systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in Product Management or Business Development for POS/ECR
- Proven success in launching and scaling cash registers in the German market
- Solid knowledge of retail processes and ECR integrations
- Familiarity with relevant regulations (KassenSichV, BAIT/MaRisk, PCI DSS, DORA)
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to build business cases
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
- Experience with payment acceptance / Merchant Acquiring
- Knowledge of data analytics and customer insight tools
- Strategic thinking with a clear focus on execution
- Strong analytical skills, able to interpret data
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Sound understanding of commercial levers and P&L impact
- Customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset
- High sense of ownership and accountability
- Collaborative, able to work across departments
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Tasks
- Define and maintain product strategies and roadmaps for Genius and COMO in Germany
- Analyze market trends, competitive offerings, regulatory developments, and customer requirements
- Align local roadmaps with group product vision and business goals
- Own the full lifecycle of Genius and COMO, from ideation to end-of-life
- Translate merchant and partner requirements into functional specifications and backlog items
- Manage third-party suppliers and technology partners for Genius and COMO
- Plan and execute product launches, updates, and campaigns in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Partner Management
- Support the definition of pricing, packaging, and bundling
- Provide sales enablement materials, demos, FAQs, and competitive positioning for both products
- Ensure all releases comply with regulatory and security requirements and meet internal quality standards
- Define UAT scope, acceptance criteria, and release readiness for both products
- Monitor KPIs such as adoption, transaction volume, loyalty participation, revenue, uptime, and merchant satisfaction
- Act as product ambassador for Genius and COMO, representing the products internally and externally
- Collaborate closely with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance, Implementation, Customer Support, and partners
