In this role, you will focus on optimizing the plasma etch process through data analysis and collaboration. Your daily responsibilities will include troubleshooting equipment issues, implementing cost-saving improvements, and working closely with R&D to integrate new technologies into production.

Requirements

  • Degree (Master) in engineering, natural sciences, or comparable
  • Several years of professional experience in technical areas
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments
  • Advanced problem solving skills (8D, Six Sigma)
  • Independent, responsible, and team-oriented working style
  • Willingness to take on new tasks and solve them as part of a team or as cross-functional technical lead
  • Well organized and able to work with diverse requirements
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills

Tasks

  • Control and monitor the plasma etch process using machine or measurement data
  • Collaborate with various departments and external suppliers to solve process or equipment issues
  • Evaluate and implement process simplifications to reduce manufacturing costs
  • Increase process yield and improve product robustness
  • Transfer new technologies to production in partnership with R&D and process integration
  • Interface with maintenance, R&D, line control, suppliers, and quality departments
