Senior Process Engineer Plasma Etch(m/w/x)
In this role, you will focus on optimizing the plasma etch process through data analysis and collaboration. Your daily responsibilities will include troubleshooting equipment issues, implementing cost-saving improvements, and working closely with R&D to integrate new technologies into production.
Requirements
- Degree (Master) in engineering, natural sciences, or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in technical areas
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments
- Advanced problem solving skills (8D, Six Sigma)
- Independent, responsible, and team-oriented working style
- Willingness to take on new tasks and solve them as part of a team or as cross-functional technical lead
- Well organized and able to work with diverse requirements
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
Tasks
- Control and monitor the plasma etch process using machine or measurement data
- Collaborate with various departments and external suppliers to solve process or equipment issues
- Evaluate and implement process simplifications to reduce manufacturing costs
- Increase process yield and improve product robustness
- Transfer new technologies to production in partnership with R&D and process integration
- Interface with maintenance, R&D, line control, suppliers, and quality departments
