Designing and optimizing compact power supply modules with advanced control schemes at global ICT solutions provider. Proven solid experience designing highly compact, efficient power conversion circuits with Si/GaN devices required. Language courses in German and Mandarin.

Requirements

  • Master or Ph.D degree in power electronics, electrical engineering, or related majors
  • Proven solid experience in designing highly compact and efficient DC-DC converters
  • Familiarity with isolated and non-isolated DC-DC converter power topologies
  • Familiarity with high switching-speed semiconductor devices (Si and GaN) and gate-driver design
  • Participation in internal and external events (e.g., conferences, workshops)
  • Fluent communication in English
  • Experience in requirements definition and design of DC-DC converters for computing applications is a plus

Tasks

  • Select and optimize power topologies based on requirements
  • Develop simulation models to estimate losses in compact power supply modules
  • Propose new concepts and patents for DC-DC converters
  • Design advanced control and modulation schemes for DC-DC converters
  • Produce insight reports on DC-DC converter topologies and components
  • Conduct feasibility analysis of innovative concepts for DC-DC converters
  • Build and maintain partnerships with industrial institutions and universities in Europe
