Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable field
  • 5+ years experience in mechanical design engineering
  • Expertise in machine design and high-precision systems
  • Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD and PDM
  • Knowledge of materials selection and international standards
  • Experience with high-precision manufacturing and verification
  • Understanding of safety requirements and multidisciplinary design
  • Experience in vacuum technology and FE simulations
  • Structured, analytical working style

Tasks

  • Design high-precision mechanical systems from concept to production
  • Take technical ownership of components and assemblies
  • Perform mechanical calculations, simulations, and tolerancing
  • Review designs for quality, robustness, and manufacturability
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and external suppliers
  • Coordinate with quality, electronics, and service teams
  • Support industrialization and manufacturing transfer processes
  • Conduct design reviews and FMEA risk assessments
  • Execute validation activities for mechanical designs
  • Develop design standards and best practices
  • Mentor other engineers as a technical sparring partner
  • Evaluate new technologies and materials for performance improvements
