Description

As a Senior Growth Engineer, you will design and manage API integrations that connect HelloFresh with various partners. This role involves technical execution and project ownership, ensuring seamless connectivity and compliance while enhancing customer experiences.

Requirements

• •Strong experience with RESTful and GraphQL API development (Node.js, Python, or Go preferred)
• •Solid understanding of OAuth2 / OpenID Connect, webhooks, and secure token exchange
• •Experience with API design, testing (Postman/Swagger), and documentation
• •Familiarity with serverless/cloud environments (AWS Lambda, ECS, or GCP Functions)
• •Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data transformation (JSON, CSV, Databricks workbooks)
• •Proven ability to set up CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and error logging (Sentry, ELK)
• •Background in B2B SaaS integrations, subscription commerce, or loyalty/fintech APIs
• •Experience managing partner integrations across multiple regions
• •Understanding of billing systems, revenue-share models, or points-based loyalty frameworks
• •Familiarity with Contentful, Snowflake, N8N, Zapier or internal data APIs a plus
• •Strong ownership mindset - able to independently manage technical projects end-to-end
• •Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
• •Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple integrations in parallel

Tasks

• •Design and implement scalable API integrations
• •Manage integrations with external partner ecosystems
• •Build and deploy REST/GraphQL APIs and automation scripts
• •Develop authentication flows using OAuth2/OpenID Connect
• •Create account linking and billing APIs for subscriptions
• •Configure data pipelines and monitoring for syncs
• •Design integration architectures aligned with core systems

• •Build and maintain API documentation and developer guides
• •Establish patterns for scalable partner onboarding
• •Troubleshoot issues and manage error handling
• •Act as the primary technical contact for partners
• •Translate partner requirements into API specifications
• •Support pilot integrations and post-launch maintenance
• •Plan and deliver multiple integration projects concurrently
• •Define milestones and report outcomes to stakeholders
• •Collaborate with Product, Data, and Finance teams
• •Ensure timely and reliable delivery of integrations
• •Implement logging, auditing, and alerting for integrations
• •Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards
• •Optimize performance through automated testing and CI/CD
