Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Electrical/Aerospace Engineering or similar
- Hands-on experience with sensor systems assembly and calibration
- Extensive experience with mechanical and thermal system characterization
- Knowledge in handling typical sensors
- Extensive experience in selection and usage of pressure transducers
- Experience with data acquisition systems
- Experience with error calculations and data evaluation
- Clean, organized, and structured work approach
- Basic knowledge in Python, C++, or similar
- Fluent in English
- PCB design and debugging with electrical/electronic equipment
- Basic understanding of aerospace industry systems
- Affiliations with countries listed under § 13 para. 1 no. 17 SÜG may affect application process
Tasks
- Select and qualify launch vehicle sensors
- Maintain sensor interfaces across departments
- Integrate sensor components with design teams
- Define and test operative procedures
- Establish design and operative standards
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative sensor checks
- Propose and assist in sensor selection
- Estimate and calculate measurement errors
- Assemble and test instrumentation
- Maintain flight instrumentation list
- Update sensor configuration files
- Incorporate change requests into the list
- Conduct instrumentation reviews
- Improve selected equipment
- Qualify sensors functionally and environmentally
- Integrate flight sensors to the Flight Test Instrumentation system
Work Experience
