Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field
- Several years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in medical or regulated industries
- Experience in developing software for microcontrollers in a real-time environment
- Expert level programming in C/C++ for real-time embedded systems
- Deep knowledge of RTOS platforms
- Extensive experience with microcontrollers and low-level hardware interfaces
- Experience in software development for safety-critical systems
- Experience with unit testing and static analysis tools
- Familiarity with version control and CI/CD pipelines for embedded projects
- Understanding of CAN protocols and embedded debugging tools
- Basic knowledge of hardware schematics and datasheets
- Experience with Vector tools is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality code
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams or mentoring junior engineers
- Comfortable working in a regulated environment with structured development processes
Tasks
- Mentor embedded software engineers
- Design and implement software for microcontroller-based medical devices
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Work with RTOS-based systems for real-time performance
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to define interfaces
