- Master or PhD in engineering, material sciences, pharmaceutical technology or similar
- 3+ years experience in primary packaging / medical device and combination product development or pharmaceutical industry
- Leadership and influence in global matrix organization
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Active listening and cross-functional understanding
- Mentoring and inspiring others to solve technical issues
- Leading novel projects within the team
- Excellent English verbal and written skills
- German language skills are advantageous
Tasks
- Lead parenteral packaging development activities
- Manage syringe, needle safety device, and vial projects
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams
- Apply technical expertise to design and development
- Address operational issues for timely delivery
- Conduct technical assessments for packaging components
- Ensure compliance in documentation for systems functionality
- Utilize knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
- Solve problems and deviations within area of responsibility
- Communicate effectively across organizational interfaces
- Conduct feasibility assessments on new technology
- Prepare function-related documents for medical device registration
- Provide feedback to health authority questions
- Transfer know-how and procedures to other departments
- Work with external contractors
