Requirements

  • Master or PhD in engineering, material sciences, pharmaceutical technology or similar
  • 3+ years experience in primary packaging / medical device and combination product development or pharmaceutical industry
  • Leadership and influence in global matrix organization
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Mentoring and inspiring others to solve technical issues
  • Leading novel projects within the team
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills
  • German language skills are advantageous

Tasks

  • Lead parenteral packaging development activities
  • Manage syringe, needle safety device, and vial projects
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams
  • Apply technical expertise to design and development
  • Address operational issues for timely delivery
  • Conduct technical assessments for packaging components
  • Ensure compliance in documentation for systems functionality
  • Utilize knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
  • Solve problems and deviations within area of responsibility
  • Communicate effectively across organizational interfaces
  • Conduct feasibility assessments on new technology
  • Prepare function-related documents for medical device registration
  • Provide feedback to health authority questions
  • Transfer know-how and procedures to other departments
  • Work with external contractors
