Requirements
- University degree in computer science, mathematics, or comparable qualification with strong IT focus
- At least 5 years of experience in software or platform engineering, ideally in cloud environment
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code, ideally with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools
- Experience in building and operating enterprise-wide AI or data platforms with focus on scalability, performance, and user experience
- Practical experience in machine learning or generative AI, together with knowledge in modern programming languages and API technologies
- Deep understanding of IT security, data protection, and compliance requirements
- Very good English skills; German skills are an advantage
Tasks
- Develop scalable and secure AI platforms
- Operate high-performance AI solutions in cloud environments
- Support the entire AI lifecycle from data preparation to production
- Automate infrastructure and workflows using DevOps and MLOps
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers on APIs and services
- Ensure platform quality, stability, and security
- Monitor and document platform observability and compliance
- Engage with the BMW AI Community and share best practices
- Evaluate new technological trends and contribute to AI development
